  • Visit the cultural capital of New Zealand: Wellington and take in the Victorian timber architecture and lakeside views.
  • Auckland is beautiful, with its rugged west coast beaches and surf and yet within an hours drive you can be in the rainforest.
  • The Bay of Islands is a top tourist attraction, offering water sports and outstanding budget accommodation.
  • The Hauraki Gulf Islands encompass more than 50 islands, some being only minutes from the city. The Great Barrier Reef requires more effort to travel to, but is well worth the visit.
